Patch makes it easy to share your thoughts, opinions and stories with your neighbors using article posts.  To post an article, please follow these steps:

1. Click on the green "Post" button on the top left of the page.
   
2. Select "Article" from the pop-up menu that appears.
   
3. On the next page, click "Choose a group" to select the group that will show your article in its feed.
   
4. After you have selected the group, enter the article title in the "Title" field.
   
5. You can compose your article in the "Compose Article" field and even select several Font and Style options using the buttons above the text field.
   
6. When you are finished, you can click the "Post Now" button to publish the article.
   

Advanced Options

If you wish to post your article at a later time, save it as a draft or add photos and videos, Patch offers you several options:

• To attach one or more photos or videos to your article post, click the "Choose File" link below the description field to locate the files on your computer to attach to the post. (Read more about "Uploading Media" by clicking here.)
  
• To finish your article later, click the down arrow on the "Post Now" button to save your article as a draft. (Read more about "Managing Your Drafts" by clicking here.)
  
• To add an brief description or introduction to your post, just type text into the “Intro Paragraph” field.
  
• To publish your article at a later time, click the "Advanced Options" link on the page and select your desired Date and Time of publication in the fields that appear.
  

Post To Multiple Groups

You may also share any post with several groups at once as long as you have contributor or manager access in the other groups.  To post to multiple groups, just follow these steps:

1. After you have already selected one group to post in, click the "Add another group" that appears below the first group's name.
   
2. Choose the next group in which to post from the list that appears.
3. Repeat this process for each additional group you wish to post in.
