Patch offers an assortment of community- and staff-created groups from categories like Family, Sports and Opinion, among an ever-growing list of others.  To find a particular group to add to your "Group List", please follow these steps:

1. From your Patch homepage, click the "Find More Groups" button on the top right of the page.
   
2. On the next page, you can browse a list of the most popular groups or click on a category listed under the "Featured Groups" heading on the left side. Click on the title or photo of any group to visit a group's public page and read more information about it.
   
3. To add a group that interests you to Your Groups, just click the "Follow" button next to its name on a list or on its public page.
   

You can also find groups about local businesses you love by visiting the Directory section.  There you can keep up with their latest updates or leave posts and reviews.  To find a local business's directory group page, please follow these steps:

1. Visit the Directory section or just click "Directory" in the navigation bar from any page.
   
2. Click a category from the "Directory" menu on the left or browse the list in the center of the page.
   
3. When you locate the business, just click the "Follow" button next to its name to start following.
