While posting a comment on an article on Patch you have the option to Follow the story and all comments that are posted after yours.  Sometimes articles can end up with hundreds of comments, so we totally understand if you want to stop following them via email.

To stop following comments, please follow these steps:

1. Go to http://www.patch.com

2. Select your desired location on the right

3. If you are not signed in, click Sign In at the top right and enter your login credentials

4. Hover over your name in the top right and click Account

5. Click Following on the left under More Stuff

6. Click Stop Following under any article
