We encourage our users to make Patch their own, which includes writing and updating your profile!  You are welcome to change your display name, but keep in mind that we ask for transparency and honesty about your identity in our Terms of Use.

To edit your profile to change your display name, please follow these steps:

1. Go to http://www.patch.com

2. Select your desired location on the right

3. If you are not signed in, click Sign In at the top right and enter your login credentials

4. Hover over your name in the top right and click Profile

5.  Click Edit Profile on the left and make changes as needed

6. Click Save to finish
