An obituary is classified as an Announcement on Patch. 

To place an obituary notice, please follow these steps:

1. Go to http://www.patch.com

2. Select your desired location on the right

3. Click News at the top of the page, then select Announcements 

4. On the right, click on Add an Announcement

5. On the next page, select the Category and the relevant form fields will appear below

6. Fill out the information in the boxes provided

7. Click Post My Announcement to post
